10 Best Secured Credit Cards
$1,000 to put towards improving credit. what steps would result in best score?
I had to file bankruptcy around 3-4 years ago. Currently have 2 Credit Cards, both of which are around 80%-90% of their limit.
Should I:
1)Pay down the 2 cards as low as possible? I believe I can get them down to 10%-20% of their limits.
or
2)Take out a secured loan and repay it over around 4-5 months?
OR
3)Put towards getting a new car (and when I say new – I mean ’08ish).
I know having a car payment (and keeping up on it) is a good idea and I do need a new(er) vehicle, but I believe I need to bump my credit up a little more before I could actually get one.
