Accept Credit Cards By Phone Or Internet

how would i get a credit card ? i would rather get one by phone so who would i ring ? i’ve never had one before but i need one for this internet payment i wanted to use my debit card but they won’t accept them, theres always one that has to be different !
the Credit Cards they accept are * Visa * and * MasterCard *
which credit card is the best out of the two ?
this interent payment will cost me £7 a month ($15)
would i be able to choose how much money i want on the credit card because i only want about £200 on it and i’ve heard that getting a credit card is bad because you have to pay interest so i don’t want alot of money on it.
Also is there different types of Visa and MasterCard or is it just one card used for anything ?

Master Card is awful overseas and you appear to be in Britain. Their chargeback rights are significantly different. There is only one Visa and one MasterCard but they are issued by thousands of banks. You don’t pay interest if you pay in full every month.
Call your local bank and see if they issue a Visa. I don’t know the number for Visa there, but in the US, it is 1800-VISA911 who can tell you which banks offer Visas. Barclays Bank is huge in the UK, so you can start there.
