Best No Interest Credit Cards Balance Transfers
There are 1000′s of Credit Cards, which to choose?
I have a 720 credit score, and I want to replace a crappy high interest, low rewards card I got when I turned 18. I have no balance to transfer over. There are a zillion different options out there, just don’t know which one gives the best rewards. Any advantage to Amex over Visa?
Oh, I don’t want to pay an annual fee, and I always pay off my balance in 30 days, sometimes 60 (rarely)
Amex as you know charges an annual fee unless you happen to make about $500,000/yr and spend alot on cards. Most card companies have the same terms and agreement since in the credit card world its “follow the leader”. Visa is good and Master Card. You may want to hold both since there is that rare instance that a company will only take one or the other (ie:Sams Club only takes Master Card I learned that the hard way). So now I am looking for a MC. The best thing to do is read your mail from the card companies and see what rates they are offering you. Its hard to tell just by going to a company what thier rates will be. If you can get something in writing upfront that states what your rate will be then you are in great shape. MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL INFO EVEN THE SMALLEST OF PRINT ON ALL PEICES OF PAPER IN THE ENVELOPE!! I stress that because you dont want any suprises later. Plus you want to make sure your rate is Fixed not Variable. Invitations for Credit Cards right now is your friend, at this point it is not junk mail its informitive mail. Collect them all over about 2 weeks to month time toss the ones that have more than a 15% rate definately keep the ones that are 8% interest or lower. I hope this helps you out a bit.
