Capital One Credit Cards Sign In
Still dont have a credit history?
So I got my first credit card in June, paid my first bill last month, paying my second this month. I’m not to sure on how Credit Cards work, but I haven’t been late on any payments thus far.
My problem is that I got a card so I could get my own Verizon wireless plan ( I had previously tried to sign up but I didnt have any kind of credit card/history at the time and got rejected basically) I tried again after my first payment and got the same response that they couldnt find my credit history or that I didnt have enough?
I’m not really sure. So how long will it take for me to get a credit history?
If it matters I have a capital one platinum.
You have to use that credit card for at least 6 months before it even begins to count in your FICO score. Even then, 6 months is a very limited credit history and you still will be required to pay a deposit for the cell phone
Good credit is build over years, not months.
