How do I start building credit?
I am 18 and just applied for the Chase Plus One Student Visa so I could start building credit. However, my application was denied because I had “no information in credit bureau.” What are some good beginning Credit Cards that I could get accepted for to start building credit. Also….I had applied and gotten denied for a store credit card also. I realize that too many credit applications in a short amount of time looks bad on one’s credit report, but since I have no information with any of the credit bureaus, will these unsuccessful applications show up anywhere at all?
