How I can get my credit score the 7 points you need?

I tried to get an equity loan on my house and told me everything is in order, but I need seven more points on my credit. How I can get 7 points on my credit? I really do not want to open a credit card because I never had one and really do not need one. Said my income is well, my job is good and everything else is good, but need more credit history. Do not understand why when I bought my house I was debt free and had no one, why am I being asked to open something in order to get the points.? It took a long time to become debt free and I really do not want to incur debt in order to achieve equity in my house. I've had my house for 02 and never have taken equity, I have more than 100% of capital and would like to get some, I deserve it.

Ask a family member who is a responsible person to add you as an authorized user on a credit card. You will get the account added to your credit report and payment history of the account, increase credit score. Later you can remove the account if desired. Otherwise, it would have to open a new trade line.
