Free Visa Prepaid Credit Cards
is a rent.com 100 dollar reward a credit card?if not why do they charge monthly/transaction fees?
I want to know if the rent.com prepaid visa card money is free before I use it,I read about card on file fees, transaction fees and monthly fees to pay when you use the free reward amount and I just wanna be sure that it is free money because I am ignorant about it.
I used Rent.com when I moved and got my reward card in the mail a couple weeks ago!
According to their website it isn’t a credit card…it’s basically a prepaid debit card with the Visa logo. The only fee mentioned is a lost or stolen card fee. Here’s the page that has all the information: http://www.rent.com/company/reward-card/terms/
Of course, as for your point about it being free money, you’ve only got to meet Rent.com’s requirements to get the $100 reward which are basically:
1. Find Your New Home Using Rent.com.
2. Tell the Leasing Office You Found the Property on “Rent.com.”
3. Report Your Lease by Completing Rent.com’s Lease Report Form to Claim Your Reward Card.
This is the page I got that info from: http://www.rent.com/company/reward/
So essentially it’s free money, but make sure you follow their directions.
Hope this helps!
