Low Interest Citi Student Credit Cards
What is the best credit card to transfer the balance on my Citi?
I have $ 3,000 on my credit card. The interest rate is 18% which is ridiculous. It is the same rate that I had when I got the card at 18 years and have made all payments on time. I have 24 years now. I have no bad marks on my credit. Should not be able to lower my interest rate and abnormal exit the student rate? Thanks!
To pay. Credit Cards are not long-term funding. They are short-term expediency. If you only charge what you can pay in full each month, you do not have to worry about by the interest rate. If it does open another credit card account, do not close the account Citi. Closing it would close its history and lower your score. Keep an open account and use it for a small purchase every 4 months or so to keep the account active. Note that when transferring funds, there is a fee of around 3%. offers low-interest special offer are probably few and far between, but keep in mind that it takes very little to default to a higher rate.
