New Business Credit Cards No Credit Check
I have a background check is done before it can be employed in a company?
I am currently in the process of getting a new job. I'm at the merits stage of the process of credit check where the criminal history and others. Now my credit is not so hot, I have a lot of debt credit card. I was told the background check takes 5-7 business days. So now been 10 days and I have not heard of them. I have no background criminal at all, is it possible that my credit card that I was not hired?
It should not unless the position is sensitive. I would give them a call and find out. I'm not sure you can deny employment because, for me is a kind of none of their business. That said, these things never go as fast as you think they will, no hurry, but you, so I would not worry too much. The background check can be rather busy, people start to go on vacation, I would try to relax. If you reject that, I would like to see a lawyer about filing a discrimination claim. Some of these things feel preemployment an invasion of privacy to me.
