Student Credit Cards For Bad Credit
I have no credit! I need a student credit card! HELP
I am a student trying to pay for books this fall, I was thinking a credit card. Many of them want you to have at least established credit, which I find totally outrageous given the students usually goes by his first year of college no credit at all, either! cards that could be applied to no credit at all? I could use the help. Their is a difference between bad credit and no credit.
Just look around. I was able to get a student credit card when I started college, but a few applications to different banks to find the right one. You can also have someone co-sign. My advice to you would be open one with no more than a limit of $ 1000.00. The lower the limit, the less chance you have of getting into trouble with it. This may sound obvious, but do not realize what temptation is a credit card until you have your own. Good luck with the hunt for the card.
