My husband and I have about $ 7,750, 5 Credit Cards and we're about wanting to get a loan from our bank to pay what we can buy a house. We must have a co-signer (who are young and lack of assets) that is my dad but the banker said it was not enough, they want to write a letter with a check to each of our Credit Cards to pay them and close them! I have been told that this closure (which many Credit Cards at once) hurts your credit score is bad when you want to buy a house. Is this true? Note account you just pay off a loan including monthly payment which is greater than this, we have never had any problems or delays in payments. I know that without are closed is "without warranty of credit", but this is your credit look bad? Thanks in advance!

To be honest with you do not really I know, but I do know that every time you pay something out of it takes about 30 days which may be updated in your credit report for all I'm saying is that if you and your husband choose to pay your c / card, wait at least 30 days b4, getting your credit ran for a mortgage loan
